We’re excited to announce a new poetry contest for students currently enrolled in a high school. The finalists will be published in a special issue in late 2026. The top two poems will receive $30 through paypal. Contest ends June 15, 2026.
To submit your poetry to Pineberry Literary Journal, please include 1-5 poems in the body of the email with your name, a short cover letter listing the names of your poems, and a third-person biography (approximately 50 words) including YOUR HIGH SCHOOL to: pineberryliteraryjournal@gmail.com . Biographies without the name of your high school will not be included in this contest but may be reviewed for publication in the regular journal issue.
Please submit only your original, unpublished poetry. No AI-generated poems. Simultaneous submissions are expected, but please notify us as soon as possible upon pending publication elsewhere.
We are a small team and usually respond to general queries within a couple months and submissions within six months.
